Trying something new

I’ve come to learn that life is full of pivots and surprises. You can go from telling a story through performing, to marketing and now another pivot to try and tell stories though my own lens (literally). If you know me, you know that I always take way too many photos on vacations, have hundreds of photos of my animals and I truly love the beauty of capturing memories. Add all of that together with a few months of research and now I am attempting to take a mighty stab at the art (and science) of photography with my very own Sony camera. So far, it is overwhelming, but at the same time a challenge to learn something completely new that satisfies my creative brain. I am a true beginner and I am fully aware that my photos will reflect that, however I want to document my progress while showcasing the photos I am proud of along the way. Here goes nothing! If you need me I will be happily frustrated with my camera for the foreseeable future and taking copious photos!
